J. B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata is a heritage Institute of our Country and is a matter of great proud that Central Council of Indian Medicine declared the Institute as the oldest academician in Ayurveda running since inception in India. The Institute was established on 10th February 1916 with the dream, dedication and devotion of the founder Kaviraj Jamini Bhusan Roy and the foundation Stone was laid down by the father of nation Mahatma Gandhi. The Institute is well known for its supremacy in education, research and treatment of Ayurveda throughout the country. The fame of the Institute has reached to its height even in abroad. All the students’ faculties & non-teaching staff of J.B, Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital are proud to share themselves in the prestigious year of this Centenary Institute.
